Shopping Hauls January - Excuses for Shopping

Excuses For Shopping

- simply because nobody actually dont NEEDs to shop unless ;

. Ive decided to track my shopping because I simply just buy too much (you would know mum haha) But ey - theres been some sales this month and I figured after a cold and "depressive)" dark winter in Norway (ok it wasnt depressing quite the opposite but dark and cold, yes) I needed some therapy (in form of shopping ) and to keep count I snapped some photos almost every time I went shopping. You know the feeling of feeling guilty because you shop too much ? well I think I have managed to convince myself that I Shouldnt!!!!

1. k. i bought some shoes for work from charles and keith and some other stores. totally neccesary!!! All my other shoes are like months old so they need replacement badly.

2. Work clothes and outfits are always an excuse for shopping by the way.

bought some bikinis too in case it starts raining again. This month has been very heavy in many ways. And the bikini to the right has a camouflage theme in case Im on Holiday in Brazil and its suddenly war and I will then hide behind the many colourful painted faces or the locals.

3. just some minor makeup stuff since so I can put a face on in the morning. And off in the evening (make up remover from watson)

4. Earrings from Aldo because my ears are ugly so I wanted to decorate them so I wouldnt have to leave my job for a new job as a Hobbit-stand-in in Lord Of The Rings. AND they were on sale.

btw thats me with the glasses. that outfit totally doesnt suit me.

4. 4 more pairs because besides from getting shoes for work, I need some shoes for leisure. simply because I have too much outfits, thus I need to have more shoes to go with the different outfits. makes sense? besides, pair no. 2 from the left Ive been drooling on since last year and they were on sale, which must have been Gods way of telling me ; these shoes are meant for you, you ARE a couple.besides - they are freaking awesome on .

5. The wallet because all the wallets I have are too big for my other handbags, and I needed something that could fit into my smallest bags - but I found out that this one didnt really fit in my smallest one so woho that gives me another excuse to get another one.

6. I need to get some more shoes because when my shoes stand alone in there they look lonely, and when I doubled it up pair by pair it left alot of more space .. (see picture below)

If I dont fill up this shoecloset its gonna look weird and empty.

8. - So reasoning being that my closet now looked empty I bought 2 more pairs of shoes last week ;

9. I got this Kate spade because it had that kind of umbrella feel to it - and as I mentioned earlier in this entry, it HAS been raining alot so why not get a "umbrella/Jacket" bag thats can just fit my camera and my phone ?

-ps. updater ; the bag doesnt seem that waterproof after all.

10. work clothes! organizer! they explain themselves.

Botanical Dreams

A wonderful Sunday in Botanical Gardens, I teamed up with Zaki to do a photoshoot of Wendy. Im so glad the weather in Singapore is starting to clear up finally !The make up artist couldnt make it for that day so I decided to take the matters into my own hands!

Havent been behind the camera for almost a year now (besides my work which involves taking photos of oil and gas products) and its about time I start using it again!

The day i shot these (last thursday) I was so unlucky because of the chinese new year holidays made it impossible to book or find a cab :S ended up coming more then 1 hour late! (stupid me for not taking the public transport from the beginning ) Always plan to come before the photographer, hate making a bad first impression. Came 2 hours late for my FHM shoot last month because I couldnt get a cab during the peak hour + I went all the way to the media corp building in thompson from city hall to only find out the shoot was in Joo Chiat (again plan and double confirm in advance). Then when I came everything was super rushed! arh. planning!!! Theres a great book called "how to get things done" which is supposed to coach you to plan your life better. But then again if you never get things done, how are you supposed to ever get to read that book ? its still dusting in my closet but hope to pick it up and read a page a day ;)

And - another thing - I was drinking the day before. Drinking is NOT recommended as there is no was you can hold a pose for too long. I was looking through all the pics taken that Thursday, and theres not much usable in it, so Im just posting the few that are OK. I mean most of the photographs look great but when I look horrible in 90% of them it doesnt really help, does it?

Later that day I flew off with Vy to Kuala Lumpur for a small holiday and barbeque at Aprils place! yesyes april im mentioning you in my blog you better be reading this =)
