New Years resolutions

Theres been a whole lot of things going on lately, which is the reason why I haven't been blogging for a while! Its been a crazy year for me, and I wonder how I am gonna these achievements next year! 

It doesn't feel like too long ago when I did the covershoot for fhm, followed by my bands album being released in the stores and on the radio, and not long after that I won the "got soul" pageant. Got a weekend job as a VJ for liveomusic.com, interviewed the "Cateracs" on my show, hosted my first Charity event ever for "Action for Aids Singapore", (never doing that again i think) formed a new band (soul clinic), did my first wedding gig at the botanical gardens, did my first wedding gig in Singapore.. Then furthermore one of my first projects "Islandbark" is being launched soon, Qlubbr.com/beta is soft launched already. Starred in 3 music videos, Ko Flow, Monkey King and Lefttools new songs, recorded my first music video,Started the biggest modeling group on Facebook (In Norway), started planning a modeling agency with my friend,  and last but not least - since august Ive got a new job as an art director for "Studio Prodigy" ! And did I mention I am fostering two bunnies?

I think I have come up with a plan to top this for next year, so these are some of my New Years resolutions:

- Record my first single as a solo artist

- Take more professional photos

- Do event planning 

- Finish Islandbark.com

- Get Qlubbr huge

- Play more gigs with Soulclinic

- go to LA and get famous (ok, thats a longshot)

- Revamp all my social media designs

- record a new music video

- start acting again

- get my own website up and running

Still doesn't sound like I can top this year, but well see how it goes;)

Maybelline Hypercoutore fashion show at Soul Club

Me, Taisuke and Dawn performed at the Maybelline event at soul club last Saturday. It was to mark their launch of Hypersharp Eyeliner, and to suit the event they made up all the guys and girls with eyeliner art, even the 1or8faction guys lol (see pics after the jump further down)

 It was rather hectic with an overload of young people (1000+) and we had only had 1 day of rehearsal of the songs, but it went smoothly!

Taisuke was the host and we all sang G6, billionaire and moves like jagger.

We came in around 9 and the event ended around 6, tiering but really fun !

Unboxing macbook air 11 inch 2011

So excited! and Jetlagged! Sleep all day and wake up during the night and cant sleep. At least I did this video to show you the waste of my time awake at night. ;

Music Video Shoot

Had an extremly productive weekend. Saturday I worked for SOL in wavehouse sentosa together with Christina Tan, Rebecca Chen, Felicia Neo spraying waterguns on people, I went to Ninas place for a few drinks, got ready to go and then ended up staying in. 

The day after I was sooo hungover but made it (almost) in time for a videoshoot !

Thank GOD I didnt end up like this lady because I would really hate myself for that!

Finally after being in a couple of short films and videos I was doing my own! Only problem is that I have to re-record the song I did on Saturday because the one I did on my mac was all over the place!

Ok, so anyways, I was kind of excited and scared and confused and worried and retarded and happy and especially hungover on my way there, as you can see clearly in the illustrational pictorial below:

Hmm Im gonna go there, and NAIL this!

Worried, like Really worried and a tad suprised that someones taking a photo of me in the middle of nowhere. Oh wait, did I take this?

But at the same time kind of happy, or at least trying to force myself to be happy, or at least I look the part?

But what if something goes wrong? what if Ill look like my drunk self in the video? Or like a tired monster?

What will my mum say then? what if they force me to be naked and prance around in east coast while all the tourists take photos of me and post it on stomp? At least Ill be famous, right?

Im so confused now, should I just go back home and pretend like nothing ever happened?

Im so Angry, why did I get myself into this situation in the first place, I could have been at Tanjong Beach Club getting pregnant in the sperm pool and then I would alredy have a baby by now and be happy because at least I could blame the baby for all the stuffed toys roaming around my house

Ok fine ill just do it!

Shot it at East Coast Park. Video up Soon. The boys grilled some awesome barbeque food that reminded me of mums cooking before we started shooting. The beach was hawt but in the end of course it was worth it - and seeing a bunch of really hard working people makes me feel great - they all really have a passion for it and it shines through.
