As you might have read in the previous post, Glue & Glam was kicked off the show...
It was so weird being cut out all of the sudden - The production crew and other contestants are like a part of your family after spending so much time with them its sad to go from one "reality" to another one - and me and Kishz were both really sad to leave so soon ! Especially because we were both so hardworking during the bedroom-challenge!
Well guess what. A few days after returning, I got the surprise call of my life - we were called to get back on the show and were given a second chance! I was really excited and hoped my partner would feel the same way and he did!
So back on the plane, whopped on my high heels and were taken back to our spanking swag apartment!
Seeing everyones reactions to us walking out that door was.. Really funny. Some smiling and some rather pissed off we got mixed reactions from being back.. Well I guess it did not seem quite as fair to all.
This weeks challenge was the Bathroom and the theme was "Zen".
We decided to go with a black and white theme for this room - Black ceiling to contrast with the white marbling that was done up. The most challenging part of this weeks task was that we had to do up 2 bathrooms - on two different storeys!
After hours and hours of sweat and blood and tears we finally finalized the room. The Black and white came out quite dramatic and sleek and I feel like we really did up the bathroom like we were going to move in to that apartment!
We created drapes in front of the tub to create a sexy sleek see through look, and Kishz cut the wooden frames we found to fit in the ceiling - the light shines really nice through it!
We found an amazing stone sink to match - damn heavy to carry but we managed it!
Into the judging room again, nervous but more confident this time..
WE WON THE CHALLENGE!
Woho! but in the end they shared our 10 000 dollar prize with The Strangerz.
Well better to share 1rst prize then nothing at all!
